The Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards is proud to partner with the Department of Commerce, International Trade, Investment, Enterprise Development & Consumer Affairs for Business Month 2018.

As part of activities for Business Month the Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards (SLBS) will host a  two day training workshop in HACCP Food Safety System on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd November at the SLBS Training room at the Bisee Industrial Estate.

The training exercise will be in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), a globally recognized approach for developing a food safety system. 

The SLBS believes food businesses need to implement food safety systems to ensure that they take food safety hazards into consideration and put in place control measures to deal with them. 

The training exercise will address principles of HACCP development and implementation of a HACCP System.
