This national standard specifies the method of energy efficiency classification of refrigerators
used for domestic and similar purposes, the test methods and the features of the energy
efficiency label.
This national standard is applicable to the following refrigerating appliances:
a) refrigerators with or without low temperature compartments;
b) refrigerator – freezer, appliances to store frozen food;
c) freezer type frost-free or not.
