To commemorate  World Metrology  Day (May 20)  2021, let us focus on  the important  role  measurement plays in health  particularly the  measurement of  blood  pressure.

This year’s theme for  World Metrology Day (May 20), Measurement for Health, focuses on the important role measurement plays in health, and thus in the wellbeing of every one of us. Hypertension is a common Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) in Saint Lucia and accurate blood pressure measurement by blood pressure meters is critical to the treatment and management of this condition. The Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards (SLBS)  invites you to participate in the webinar Validation and Verification of the Accuracy of Blood Pressure Monitorson Thursday, 20 May 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:45 am (AST).
